Bertini M5 Product Reviews

Product Review 1:

If you're considering splurging on a deluxe stroller, Bertini's M5-Shuttle offers enough bells and whistles to make it worth the extra bucks. Its biggest claim to fame is the steerable wheels-they all swivel, for easier maneuvering.

Just about everything on the Shuttle adjusts: The handle can be set at different heights, the seat folds all the way back, the footrest goes up and down, and the window in the canopy can be covered to keep the sun out. Finally, rear suspension gives baby a supersmooth ride.

Product Review 2:

Simo Bertini M5-Shuttle Stroller: This innovative European design was one our testers loved! The Bertini M5-Shuttle Stroller is a joy to use.

Not only is it a beautiful stroller, with its black, metallic grey and deep red fabrics atop an aluminum frame, but it features an adjustable handle, thoughtful storage compartments and large pneumatic tires. A tire pump is even included, attached right to the stroller! The crowning jewel of this stroller's design, however, is that it is truly "steerable". This stroller can make even the tightest turns through the narrowest store aisles with ease.

This stroller won the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association 2002 "Show Off" product competition - and we can see why!

Keep your Bertini rolling by lubricating it regularly

Bertini Strollers Lube (Click to enlarge)

  • Remove the wheel and lubricate the wheel axles with vaseline or axle grease once every 3 months. Put vaseline in groove at the end of the axle. (arrow 1)
  • Lubricate 'spring pins' with vaseline before first use and once every 3 months. (arrow 2) The pins are on the 'in' side of the axle, where the brake bar attaches to the corner housing.
  • DO NOT step on the brake bar to get over sidewalk curbs, etc. The brake bar is not designed to carry extra weight.
